Jasmine Tea

Green jasmine tea is one of the oldest and best-known aromas used in tea. Grown at an altitude of approx. 1300-1450m above sea level in China. Great care is taken to create jasmine-scented tea where the fresh jasmine blossoms are picked early in the morning and mixed in with green tea leaves, where a small amount of heat is applied to the mixture.

The jasmine tea features a delicate flavour profile and exudes an aromatic floral scent, which needs to be infused thoughtfully to preserve the taste.

Jasmine tea is an herbal tea that is brewed using a mixture of tea leaves from the Camellia sinensis plant and infusions of fresh jasmine blossoms. Tea leaves are harvested from the plant in spring and are carefully preserved until the jasmine blossoms begin blooming in summer. The blossoms are then added to the stored leaves and allowed to infuse for a period of several hours or weeks depending on the tea master and blend. The jasmine scent infusion process is then repeated several times.

First Flush Darjeeling

Darjeeling Tea flourishes in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. What sets Darjeeling tea apart is its remarkable versatility, allowing the leaves to undergo distinct processing methods, yielding white, green, black, or oolong teas. And is also called the Champagne of teas.

Darjeeling tea is known for its complexity and range of flavours. Depending on the flush and processing method, you can encounter notes of muscatel, floral, fruity, nutty, or earthy qualities. The taste can be both brisk and astringent or mellow and sweet.

The first flush, known for its delicate and floral teas, and the second flush, prized for its muscatel notes, are especially renowned.

Darjeeling tea is typically hand-plucked, ensuring that only the top two leaves and a bud are harvested. This labor-intensive process ensures the highest quality tea leaves are used.

We use both First Flush and Second Flush Darjeeling, primarily from these registered tea gardens; Happy Valley, Namring Upper and Steinthal in our Sparkling Teas.

BLÅ Cocktails

The complexity and unique taste of Sparkling Tea, makes it an ideal ingredient for cocktails with a bit of spark.

The talented mixologist and bar owner, Christian Tang, was one of the first to exploit this quality in our Sparkling Teas, and helped us create a cocktail menu of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails based on Sparkling Tea.
